We are very pleased to announce that the Library was awarded the $500,000 Facilities Improvement Grant by the Idaho Commission For Libraries. This grant was very competitive, so we feel extremely fortunate to have been chosen. The application was extensive and we couldn’t have done it without your help. We would like to thank Grant Writer Leslie Freeman, Mayor Judy Nissula, City Inspector Darryl Sheppard, Kittric Guest, Performance Engineers and Dalrymple Construction for helping us put our application together. We would also like to thank the Library Expansion Committee, Board of Trustees, City Hall, City Council, Friends of the Cascade Library, Cascade School District, Cascade Afterschool Program, Cascade Medical Center, University of Idaho Extension, Cascade Cultural Art Center, Chamber of Commerce, Cascade Aquatic and Recreation Center, Western Central Mountains Economic Development Council, American Legion, Leisure Time RV Park, Umpqua Bank, and Stibnite Foundation for their unwavering support.
